Day Trip to Puerta del Diablo Natural Park + Pupusa-Making Workshop

Join us on this day trip to Puerta del Diablo. Explore this Salvadorean site, take in views of its volcanos and rock formations, and participate in a pupusa-making workshop.

Tour Details

The journey starts with hotel pickup, followed by a trip to the Panchimalco district in the mountainous area of El Salvador. Upon arrival, you'll see the giant boulders and learn about the legend associated with Puerta del Diablo. The tour includes a visit to the observation decks known as crystal lookouts to view the volcanos of San Salvador and San Vicente. Prepare to take pictures with the Salvadorean capital in the background.

Continuing, scenic views of the mountains of El Chulo and El Chulito will lead us to the entrance of the Puerta del Diablo Cave. A stop will be made to view the town of Panchimalco. After this, we will walk to the Plaza Típica and visit a traditional pupusa restaurant, where you can enjoy filling them yourself during a pupusa-making workshop. The tour concludes with a visit to Planes de Renderos before returning to your hotel, making this a 4-hour tour.

Add an Optional Zipline Experience

For an adrenaline rush, consider the tour option with a zipline experience in La Puerta del Diablo. After the main tour, you will go to the zipline platform. Experience a zipline 508 feet (155 meters) long with stunning views, lasting 2 minutes.
