Tour Details

After picking you up from the meeting point you select, we'll embark on this tour to discover one of the most special and charming towns of El Salvador. Let's go to Suchitoto!

After an approximately 1.5-hour journey, we'll reach the picturesque center of Suchitoto. Here, we'll go on a guided tour and stroll through the town's cobblestone streets while admiring its small colorful houses. We'll pass by Suchitoto Central Park, a square known for the white facade of the Iglesia de Santa Lucía.

Next, we'll go to Casa 1800, a restaurant located in the highlands of Suchitoto. You'll have some free time to enjoy its lookouts and the scenic views of the town and Lake Suchitlán, surrounded by lush vegetation. Plus, you'll be able to grab a Salvadoran lunch at Casa 1800.

We'll then regroup and continue our day trip by setting off to San Salvador to explore its historical center. Here, you'll admire the exterior of the Metropolitan Cathedral of San Salvador adorned with imagery of the Divine Saviour of the World. You'll also visit the National Palace as we share the history of this significant country.

Afterward, we'll head to the Plaza Gerardo Barrios, the Plaza Libertad, and the Plaza Morazán, where we'll share the history behind each of the monuments you'll see on these sites.

Finally, we'll return to our initial meeting point to wrap up this 7- to 11-hour day trip.
