On this tour through the villages of Boyaca, we'll combine nature and history as we traverse through the main interior region of Colombia!
Visit Inland Colombia
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Tunja and kick off our tour through the inland region of Boyaca. This Andean region is known for its picturesque villages.
Our first stop is Chivata, where we will visit the Nuestra Señora del Rosario Parish, a National Heritage Site of Colombia. Next, we will continue to Toca to see the twin temples of the Divino Salvador Parish in the main square.
We will then head to the village of Paipa and the Vargas reservoir, followed by Duitama, where we will visit Pueblito Boyacense to admire traditional architecture.
In this village, we will enjoy a traditional Boyaca meal, including an appetizer, a choice of meat or fish for the main course, and a beverage. After our meal, we will explore the charming colonial town of Tibasosa.
Our final stop will be Nobsa, known for its artisanal handicrafts made from sheep's wool. After visiting artisanal stands, we will return to your hotel in Tunja about 10 hours after pickup.
