On this tour through the villages of Boyaca, we'll combine nature and history as we traverse through the main interior region of Colombia.

Visit Inland Colombia

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Tunja to start our tour through the inland region of Boyaca. This Andean region is known for its picturesque villages.

Our first stop is Chivata, where we'll visit the Nuestra Señora del Rosario Parish, a National Heritage Site of Colombia. Next, we go to Toca to see the twin temples of the Divino Salvador Parish in the main square.

We will then proceed to Paipa and the Vargas reservoir before arriving at Duitama, where we'll visit Pueblito Boyacense to admire traditional architecture.

In this village, we will enjoy a traditional Boyaca meal consisting of an appetizer, a choice of meat or fish for the main course, and a beverage. After the meal, we will explore the colonial town of Tibasosa.

Our final village is Nobsa, known for its artisanal handicrafts made from sheep's wool. After shopping at local stands, we will return to your hotel in Tunja approximately 10 hours after pickup.
