On this day trip from Tunja to the Ocetá moor, explore a notable destination in Boyaca.

Why Visit Boyaca Region?

We'll pick you up from your Tunja hotel and head northeast to the beautiful landscapes of the Boyacá region.

After about 2.5 hours, we'll reach Mongui. Here, we'll begin a hiking expedition to Ocetá, known for its extensive frailejones, creating a unique atmosphere.

The hike to the Ocetá Moor can last between 4 and 6 hours, depending on the group's pace. This ecological trail allows us to appreciate the region's natural treasures and learn about various species of fauna and flora in the area.

After the hike, we will return to Mongui for a traditional meal that includes an appetizer, a main dish of fish or meat, and a refreshing drink.

After dining, we will return you to your hotel, arriving about 10 hours after pickup.
