Cambodian Cooking Class in Phnom Penh

You'll be picked up from your hotel in a tuk tuk and llevado to a traditional Cambodian market in the heart of Phnom Penh. Your English-speaking guide will help you navigate the market and select the best produce for your recipes. Cambodian cuisine emphasizes fresh ingredients like rice and vegetables.

After gathering your ingredients, you'll proceed to a nearby kitchen for the cooking class. Under the guidance of your instructor, you will prepare traditional dishes such as lok lak, a spiced beef dish, along with perfecting Khmer curry and amok, a local fish dish steamed in banana leaves.

Once you have cooked, you will enjoy the delicious local food you prepared. After the meal, your tuk tuk will take you back to your hotel.

Important information

The recipes vary with the season, but you will make and taste starters, one or two main dishes, and a dessert, all using local ingredients sourced from the market before the class.
