Cambodian Cooking Class in Phnom Penh

You will be picked up from your hotel in a tuk tuk and taken to a traditional Cambodian market in the heart of Phnom Penh. Your English-speaking guide will help you explore the market and select the best produce for your recipes. Cambodian cuisine emphasizes fresh, natural ingredients such as rice and vegetables.

After gathering your ingredients, you will proceed to a kitchen for your cooking class. Under the guidance of your instructor, you will prepare traditional dishes like lok lak, a spiced beef dish, as well as Khmer curry and amok, a local dish of fish steamed in banana leaves.

After cooking, you will enjoy tasting the dishes you have prepared. Following the meal, you will return to your hotel by tuk tuk.

The recipes in this cooking class vary by season, but you will prepare and taste starters, one or two main dishes, and a dessert, all using local ingredients sourced from the Phnom Penh market.
