Phnom Penh Two-Day Private Tour
Day 1
Your private tour of Phnom Penh will start with hotel pickup. Begin at the Royal Palace, the residence of the King of Cambodia, featuring the Silver Pagoda with its 5000 silver tiles and national treasures. Next, visit the National Museum, the main history and archaeology museum in Cambodia. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Silk Island (Koh Dach) for a short river cruise, approximately 10 miles (15 km), to see hand-woven silk production.
Your first day concludes with hotel drop-off around 5 pm.
Day 2
After hotel pickup, your second day begins at the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21), a site documenting the Cambodian genocide, formerly a Khmer Rouge internment center. Next, visit the Choeung Ek Memorial, known as "The Killing Fields," where over a million individuals were executed under the Khmer Rouge. After lunch, continue to Wat Ounalom and Wat Phnom, significant Buddhist sites, concluding with a visit to the Russian Market.
