You will be picked up from your hotel in Phnom Penh and head to the Royal Palace, the residence of the Cambodian King since the 1860s, showcasing typical Khmer architecture.
In the Royal Palace complex, visit the Silver Pagoda (entrance fee not included), known for housing important national treasures, including the green crystal Buddha and a gold Maitreya Buddha adorned with nearly 10,000 diamonds.
Your next stop is the National Museum (entrance fee not included), where you will learn about Phnom Penh's history and view a significant collection of Khmer art. Afterward, enjoy a lunch of typical delicacies at a local restaurant.
Post-lunch, head to Wat Ounalom, the key temple in Phnom Penh built in the 15th century, consisting of 44 buildings, where monks live and practice their faith. You will also see a treasured relic, an eyebrow hair believed to belong to Buddha.
Next, visit Wat Phnom (entrance not included), the tallest religious structure in the city, built in 1372. Conclude your tour at the bustling Russian Market, known for clothing, souvenirs, and food stalls.
At the end of the tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel around 5 pm.
