On the morning of your tour, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Phnom Penh and taken north to visit the archaeological park of Sambor Prei Kuk. This site, a historic royal sanctuary and former capital city, dates back to the 7th century, making it older than Angkor and one of Cambodia's oldest temple complexes.

After a journey of around three hours, you'll begin your guided visit of the ancient site, learning about its history while enjoying views of the archaeological complex. You'll see temples that have been largely overtaken by tree roots and branches, experiencing a sense of exploration in areas yet to be heavily visited by tourists.

Once you have explored the various architectural structures, including prasats, octagonal towers, Shiva lingams, yonis, ponds, and statues of lions, you will take a break at a local restaurant for lunch.

Following your meal, you will be returned to your hotel in Phnom Penh.
