Description

We will pick you up from your hotel in Phnom Penh at the scheduled time using tuk-tuks. We will begin by boarding a ferry that will take us across the Mekong River to Silk Island. The tuk-tuk tour will commence, passing through rice and vegetable fields and a large local open-air market.

Next, we will visit the home of a local family to understand the history of silk weaving in Cambodia, a legacy maintained over generations. We will learn about essential techniques, including the breeding of mulberry worms and the hand weaving of fabrics on centuries-old looms. An aperitif made up of a variety of fruits and snacks will also be provided.

After 4.5 hours, the activity will conclude at the starting point.
