Description

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Phnom Penh using tuk-tuks for the tour of Silk Island. We will board a ferry that takes us across the Mekong River to our destination. The tuk-tuk tour will cover rice and vegetable fields and the local open-air market.

Subsequently, we will visit a local family's home to gain insights into the history of silk weaving in Cambodia, a tradition passed down through generations. We will learn about the main techniques, including the breeding of mulberry worms and the hand weaving of fabrics on centuries-old looms. An aperitif of fruits and snacks will be provided.

The tour will conclude after 4.5 hours at the starting point.
