At the indicated time, we will meet at Avenida Dr. César Oliveira, in Fuzeta, where a boat will be waiting to enter Ria Formosa Natural Park, one of the most protected wetlands in Portugal.

Once the tide is low, we will cruise through the natural reserve in search of different bird species, both native and migratory.

This area regularly hosts more than 20,000 water birds, especially during winter. In just two hours we will see more than 200 different species from a few metres away. During the trip, a marine biologist will provide explanations to help identify the birds in Ria Formosa.

This adventure will allow us to admire rare species that can only be seen in this part of Portugal, such as the Purple Swamp-hen and the Little Bittern.

The activity will conclude by returning to the starting point 2 hours later.
