We will meet at Avenida Dr. César Oliveira, in Fuzeta, at the scheduled time, where a boat will take us to the Ria Formosa Natural Park, one of the most protected wetlands in Portugal.

As the tide recedes, we will explore this natural reserve to observe the different bird species residing there, both native and migratory.

This area hosts over 20,000 water birds, particularly in winter. Within two hours, we will spot more than 200 species from close range. A marine biologist will accompany us, providing insights to help identify the birds in Ria Formosa.

During the tour, we will also have the opportunity to see rare species unique to this region, such as the Purple Swamp-hen and the Little Bittern.

The activity concludes with our return to the starting point after two hours.
