Want to admire the beautiful Olhao sunset from a unique perspective? On this cruise, we'll sail through the Ria Formosa Natural Park while enjoying the magical atmosphere at dusk.

Ria Formosa Sunset Cruise

At 5.30 pm, we'll meet at the port of Olhao to start this boat trip along the Ria Formosa at sunset. We'll tour one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Portugal while admiring the sun setting over the horizon.

During the tour, we will discuss the significant characteristics of this wetland in the Algarve region and its environmental features. We will observe the contrast between the dark blue ocean and the clear water of the estuary.

This area is renowned for its bird diversity. Keep an eye out for the various bird species that inhabit this region.

Before concluding the boat trip, we will make a 40-minute stop at Culatra and then proceed to Praia Deserta for approximately the same duration. This beach is accessible only by boat and is considered one of the best in the Algarve. We will continue our cruise along the island of Armona while enjoying a refreshing drink. The grand finale will be the sunset view over the Ria Formosa from the boat.

We will finish the tour by returning to the port of Olhao after a two-and-a-half hour cruise along the Ria Formosa.
