Description

Welcome to Oliete, in the province of Teruel! At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Apadrinaunolivo.org olive mill, located on Camino de la Algecira, s/n, on the banks of the Martín River.

First, we'll learn about the recovery process of an abandoned olive grove, supported by over 8,000 sponsors from 30 countries. We'll explore the characteristics of the olive trees and their harvesting methods.

Next, we'll visit the local olive oil mill to discover how to obtain extra virgin olive oil of extraordinary quality. This will be followed by a tasting of two virgin olive oils.

To conclude this 2.5-hour activity, we'll go to El Rincón del Olivo in the village square for a tasting of preserved vegetables with a drink.
