Olive Oil Mill and Grove Tour + Tasting

In this experience, we'll visit an Oristano olive oil mill and its olive grove to learn the secrets of Sardinian liquid gold and enjoy an olive oil tasting.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Oristano olive grove's entrance, located on the outskirts of the town in west Sardinia. We will walk through a countryside of olive trees more than 100 years old.

We will be guided by Paola and Antonello, the owners of the estate, to discover how they produce extra virgin olive oil. As we enter the grounds, we'll see farm animals, an ancient well, and a stone mill.

Participants will enjoy an experience in contact with nature and uncover Sardinia's traditions. Paola and Antonello will share interesting facts about the olive trees and the production process of this key component of the Mediterranean diet.

Afterwards, we will visit the oil mill for a detailed explanation of the whole process of olive oil production. We will conclude the activity with an olive oil tasting.

After 2 hours of experience, we'll say goodbye at the entrance of the olive grove.
