Olive Oil Mill and Grove Tour + Tasting

In this experience, we'll visit an Oristano olive oil mill and its olive grove to learn the secrets of Sardinian liquid gold and participate in an olive oil tasting.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Oristano olive grove's entrance, located on the outskirts of the town in west Sardinia. We'll walk through a countryside of olive trees over 100 years old.

Guided by Paola and Antonello, the estate owners, we will discover how they produce extra virgin olive oil. The grounds feature farm animals, an ancient well, and a stone mill.

This experience offers a connection with nature while uncovering Sardinia's traditions. Paola and Antonello will share interesting facts about olive trees and the production of this essential Mediterranean diet item.

We will then visit the oil mill, where we will receive a detailed explanation of the olive oil production process. The experience concludes with an olive oil tasting, showcasing Sardinia’s liquid gold.

After 2 hours, we'll say goodbye at the entrance of the olive grove.
