Delta del Ebro Day Trip & Boat Ride

At 3 pm, we will meet at the Oropesa del Mar Tourist Office, next to the beach. We will then travel for a little over one hour to the Delta del Ebro, where we will see notable sites on a catamaran.

Upon arrival at the natural park, we will embark for a 50-minute journey around Buda Island. During this trip, we will discuss the geographical characteristics of the reserve, including the wetland’s crustacean-rich waters that contribute to local cuisine. We will learn about the island’s history and its name.

Continuing our journey, we will sail through the rice fields and explore traditional rice cultivation, with opportunities to spot various birds such as flamingos and seagulls.

After the boat ride, we will visit the Ecomuseum to understand the importance of conserving the Delta del Ebro.

Finally, we will return to Oropesa del Mar, arriving at approximately 8 pm.
