Delta del Ebro Day Trip & Boat Ride

At 3 pm we'll meet at the Oropesa del Mar Tourist Office, next to the beach. We'll then travel for just over one hour to the Delta del Ebro natural reserve, where we'll explore the area on a catamaran.

Upon arrival, we'll embark on a 50-minute journey around Buda Island. During this time, we will discuss the geographical characteristics of the reserve and highlight that the wetlands contain abundant crustaceans used in local cuisine. We will also share facts about the island's history and the origin of its name.

Next, we'll continue sailing through the rice fields, examining these traditional crops. Wildlife sightings may include flamingos, jars, and seagulls.

After the boat ride, we'll take a brief visit to the Ecomuseum to learn about the conservation efforts within the Delta del Ebro.

Finally, we will return to Oropesa del Mar, arriving at approximately 8 pm.
