Delta del Ebro Day Trip & Boat Ride

At 3 pm we'll meet at the Oropesa del Mar Tourist Office, next to the beach. We will journey for just over one hour to the Delta del Ebro, where we will explore the area on a catamaran.

Upon arrival at the natural park, we will embark and start a 50-minute journey around Buda Island. We will explain the geographical characteristics of this reserve, noting that the wetland waters are rich in crustaceans, which are key ingredients in local cuisine. We will share facts about the island's history and the origin of its name.

We will then sail through the rice fields, learning about these traditional crops and monitoring for bird species such as flamingos, jars, and seagulls.

Following the boat ride, we will visit the Ecomuseum to learn about the conservation efforts for the Delta del Ebro.

We will return to Oropesa del Mar, arriving at approximately 8 pm.
