Maestrazgo Mining Park & Culla Excursion

At 8:45 am, we'll pick you up at the Oropesa del Mar Tourist Office and board a minibus to the Maestrazgo Mining Park, located in the Alto Maestrazgo region.

Upon arrival, we will board a mining train to reach the Victoria mine, where we will wear safety helmets and explore the underground gallery. Explanatory videos along the route provide information on the working conditions of miners from centuries ago, including details on extracted minerals and tools displayed in the mines.

Afterward, we will visit the Esperanza mine to discuss the natural conditions of the galleries, observing stalactites, shafts, and root systems underground.

Next, we will proceed to Culla, an area historically associated with the Order of the Temple. A guided tour will take us through the town's cobbled streets, covering its history and significant monuments such as the 11th-century Arab castle, the Granero del Comendador, and the old hospital.

Finally, we will return to Oropesa del Mar by minibus, with an arrival time scheduled for 1:45 pm.
