Maestrazgo Mining Park & Culla Excursion

At 8:45 am, we'll pick you up at the Oropesa del Mar Tourist Office and board a minibus to the Maestrazgo Mining Park, located in the region of Alto Maestrazgo.

Upon arrival, we'll board a mining train that takes us to the entrance of the Victoria mine. After putting on safety helmets, we will explore this underground gallery.

During the route, explanatory videos will provide insights into the working conditions of miners from centuries ago, the minerals extracted, and the tools used, some of which are exhibited in the mines.

We will also visit the Esperanza mine, discussing the natural conditions of the galleries and observing stalactites, shafts, and underground root systems.

Next, we will travel to Culla, known as one of the last properties of the Order of the Temple. A guided tour will lead us through its cobbled streets, exploring the city's history and visiting significant landmarks such as the 11th-century Arab castle, the Granero del Comendador, and the old hospital.

We will conclude the tour with our return to Oropesa del Mar by minibus, with an estimated arrival time of 1:45 pm.
