Day Trip Details

We'll meet at the Oropesa del Mar Tourist Office and board a minibus for Morella, located 71 miles (115 kilometers) away.

Morella is renowned for its beauty; we will pass through the San Miguel Gate and head to the town's old quarter.

Morella features stately mansions, stone arches, and cobbled streets, reflecting its centuries-old history. A stroll through the historic center highlights its medieval heritage, visible in its mile-long (2-kilometer) city walls, 10 towers, and 7 gates.

Midday allows free time for lunch and tasting local cuisine. Afterward, we'll visit an artisanal honey shop in Morella.

Next, we will explore the Morella Basilica, an iconic religious structure known for its interior decorations.

We will also see the exterior of Morella Castle and discuss its history. You will have 1 hour of free time to visit the castle, enjoy lunch, or shop.

Finally, we will return by minibus to Oropesa del Mar, arriving after a total of 10 hours.
