Villafamés is recognized as one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, located in the province of Castellón, showcasing its monuments and scenery.

At 3:30 pm, we will meet outside the Oropesa del Mar Tourist Office to begin our trip. We will travel by minibus for 30 minutes to reach the town of Villafamés.

Upon arrival, we will start a guided tour of the historic center, designated as a Site of Cultural Interest. We will explore how its strategic position on a hill has influenced its history.

During the tour, we will visit the façade of the church of La Asunción, the town's characteristic stone houses, and the castle, which dates back to the period of Muslim rule.

Next, we will visit Roca Grossa, a significant rock formation shrouded in mystery. Visitors will be invited to make three wishes, with the legend stating only one may be granted. We will share the myths associated with this natural landmark.

Our final stop will be the Museum of Contemporary Art of Villafamés, located in the Batlle Palace. The exhibition rooms display numerous works from the 1920s to the present, concluding an enriching excursion.

The tour will conclude at 7:30 pm, and we will return you to Oropesa del Mar.
