Gion Night Tour

On this night tour of Gion, we'll discover the historic geisha district of Kyoto as night falls.

Description

We will meet at the corner of Kawaramachi Garden, in front of the big clock, to begin our night tour of Gion, the geisha quarter of Kyoto.

We will enter the authentic district, welcomed by typical Japanese lanterns. We will learn about the culture and the streets of Gion.

Next, we will walk along the district's busy streets, including the historic Hanamikoji Street. It will be captivating to see the traditional wooden houses illuminated. We will also pass by Yasaka Shrine.

During our walk, we will see maiko, also known as geikos, the apprentice geishas, and admire the symbolism and colors of their clothing.

We will conclude our night tour at Sanj? ?hashi Bridge after 3 hours.
