On this night tour of Gion, we'll explore Kyoto's historic geisha district as night falls.

Description

We'll meet at Kawaramachi Garden to begin our night tour of Gion, the geisha quarter of Kyoto.

During the tour, we’ll enter the authentic district, welcomed by typical Japanese lanterns. We will learn about the culture and the significance of the letters inscribed on them.

Next, we'll walk through the district’s busiest and hidden streets, including the preserved historic Hanamikoji Street. The traditional wooden houses will be illuminated by dim lights, and we will visit key sites like Yasaka Shrine.

Additionally, we will have the opportunity to see maiko, or apprentice geishas, while admiring the symbolism and colors of their clothing.

We will conclude our night tour at Sanj? ?hashi Bridge after 3 hours.
