Tour Details
We'll meet at exit 2 of Gojo subway station at the scheduled time. After joining the tour and adjusting your helmet, we will begin our journey. Our exploration starts in the historic streets of Gion, the well-known geisha district.
This area is a popular destination in Japan, where you can see geishas in colorful kimonos on the Tatsumi wooden bridge or along Hanamikoji Street.
Next, we will bike to the peaceful Nanzen-ji Temple, a significant Zen temple in Japan, and continue along the Philosopher's Walk, a scenic route beside a canal, historically taken by philosopher Kitaro Nishida.
Our next destination is Ginkaku-ji, or the Silver Pavilion, known for its tranquil gardens. We will then visit Shimogamo Shrine, one of the oldest Shinto shrines in Kyoto. The tour will conclude at the Imperial Palace, the former residence of the imperial family, where we will share insights into its history.
After the tour, we will return to our starting point to return the bikes and conclude our experience in approximately 4 hours.
