Kyoto Day Trip
- 10 Stunden
Discover the old capital of Japan on this day trip to Kyoto from Osaka. Buddhist temples, gardens, imperial palaces, Shinto shrines, and more await.
Description
At 9 am, we'll meet at the JR Namba OCAT 1F train station. A bus will take us to Kyoto, with a travel time of about 1 hour.
The first stop will be Fushimi Inari-Taisha, the main Shinto shrine in Kyoto and one of the most beautiful temples in the country. After exploring this site, we will visit Kiyomizudera Temple, a group of temples declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, an iconic location in the ancient capital.
At around 1 pm, we'll stop at a local restaurant for a traditional-style lunch, consisting of a rice dish with tofu and vegetable tempura.
After lunch, we will continue to Kinkaku-ji, known as the Golden Pavilion, which was once the residence of Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu.
Our last destination will be Arashiyama and its famous bamboo forest, ideal for photography with its iconic winding paths.
Finally, we will return to Osaka, concluding the tour at 6:30 pm.
