Kyoto Tour + Sagano Train

Embark on a journey to Japan's historic capital and experience a ride on a vintage locomotive while taking in breathtaking views on this excursion to Kyoto from Osaka. Get ready for a delightful experience aboard the Sagano train!

Description

At 9 am, our meeting point will be Namba OCAT 1F. From there, we will transport you to Kameoka Station, where you will board the Sagano locomotive, celebrated as one of the most remarkable trains in Japan!

As we travel aboard this enchanting train, known as the "Sagano Romantic Train", prepare to marvel at a scenic route showcasing some of the region's most stunning natural vistas. Upon arrival at Arashiyama station, we will disembark and take a bus for the remainder of our journey.

Our first destination will be Arashiyama, home to the renowned bamboo forest. Depending on your selected tour option, we may pause for a delightful Japanese-style buffet lunch to refuel our energy.

After a satisfying meal, we’ll continue to our next highlight: the Kiyomizudera temple complex. This site was recognized as a World Heritage Site in 1994, and you'll soon grasp its significance!

Our final stop will be Fushimi Inari-taisha, the principal Shinto shrine dedicated to the deity Inari. Be sure to capture numerous photos by the iconic torii gates that grace the area.

Ultimately, we will return to Namba OCAT 1F, where we’ll arrive around 5:50 pm.
