On this tour, we'll visit Nara, the first capital of Japan, and the Fushimi Inari Taisha Shinto sanctuary.
Itinerary
After picking you up from your hotel, we'll take the train to Inari to visit the Fushimi Inari Taisha Temple.
Fushimi Inari Taisha is a Shinto sanctuary dedicated to the Deity Inari, associated with fertility, rice, agriculture, and business success. This temple is notable for thousands of red torii gates leading up the hill and gained fame through the film "Memoirs of A Geisha."
Our next stop will be Nara, the first capital of Japan (710-784). We'll visit two significant temples from this period: Kofukuji, known for its pagoda, and Todaiji, the largest wooden structure in the world.
We will also explore Nara Park, which is inhabited by deer, regarded as the ancient messengers of the Gods.
The tour concludes at the central station in Kyoto.
