Nara + Inari Private Tour

On this tour, we'll visit Nara, Japan's first capital, and the Fushimi Inari Taisha Shinto sanctuary, featured in "Memoirs of a Geisha".

Itinerary

After hotel pickup, we will take the train to Inari to visit the Fushimi Inari Taisha Temple.

Fushimi Inari Taisha is a Shinto sanctuary dedicated to the Deity Inari, linked with fertility, rice, agriculture, and business success. The thousands of red torii gates lead up the hill and gained global fame from the film "Memoirs of A Geisha".

Next, we will proceed to Nara, the first capital of Japan (710-784). We will visit two significant temples from that period: Kofukuji (notable for its pagoda) and Todaiji (the largest wooden structure globally).

We will also explore Nara Park, which is home to deer, regarded as ancient messengers of the Gods.

The tour will conclude at Kyoto's central station.
