Nara, Kinkakuji & Arashiyama Day Trip

  • 9 Stunden

With this tour to Arashiyama, Kinkakuji and Nara from Osaka, you'll discover the ancient medieval capital of Japan and visit an impressive bamboo forest and a golden temple.

Description

At the designated time, we'll meet at Namba OCAT 1F, the Osaka City Air Terminal. We'll board a comfortable air-conditioned bus to Arashiyama, located on the outskirts of Kyoto. After an hour's drive, we will arrive at our destination, where an impressive bamboo forest awaits us. Here, we'll stroll through the lush vegetation and cross the Togetsukyo Bridge.

We will stop at a local restaurant for a buffet lunch, depending on the tour option selected during booking. After lunch, we'll proceed to Kinkakuji (the Temple of the Golden Pavilion), a World Heritage Site, where we will learn about its architecture.

The tour will continue in Nara, the former capital of Japan from 710 to 784. We will explore its historic streets and visit Nara Park, known for its friendly deer, providing opportunities for photographs with these animals.

Finally, we'll return to the meeting point in Osaka, arriving after approximately 8 hours and 40 minutes.
