With this tour to Arashiyama, Kinkakuji and Nara from Osaka, you'll explore Japan's ancient medieval capital, visit a bamboo forest, and see a golden temple.

Description

We will meet at Namba OCAT 1F at the designated time and board a comfortable air-conditioned bus to Arashiyama, located near Kyoto. After an hour's drive, we will arrive at the bamboo forest to enjoy a stroll and cross the Togetsukyo Bridge. Information about the local legends will be shared during the visit.

A lunch stop will be made at a local restaurant with a buffet lunch, depending on your tour option selected at booking. After lunch, we will head to Kinkakuji, or the Temple of the Golden Pavilion, a World Heritage Site, where insights into its architecture will be provided.

The tour will continue to Nara, the Japanese capital from 710 to 784. We will explore historical streets and visit Nara Park, where you can encounter friendly deer and take photos with them.

Finally, we will return to the Osaka meeting point, completing the tour in approximately 8 hours and 40 minutes.
