With this tour to Arashiyama, Kinkakuji and Nara from Osaka, you'll explore the historic capital of Japan and visit a notable bamboo forest along with a golden temple.

Description

We will meet at Namba OCAT 1F, the Osaka City Air Terminal, and board a comfortable air-conditioned bus to Arashiyama, near Kyoto. After approximately an hour's drive, we will arrive at our first destination: an impressive bamboo forest. Here, we will enjoy walking through the vegetation and crossing the Togetsukyo Bridge, with insights about the local legend provided during the tour.

For those interested in lunch, we will stop at a local restaurant for a buffet lunch, based on the tour option selected at booking. After lunch, we will visit Kinkakuji, the Temple of the Golden Pavilion, a World Heritage Site where we will learn about its architectural details.

Next, the tour continues to Nara, Japan's capital from 710 to 784. We will explore its historical streets, including a visit to Nara Park to interact with the local deer. You may take photos with these friendly animals.

Finally, we will return to the meeting point in Osaka, concluding the tour after approximately 8 hours and 40 minutes.
