Nara Walking Tour
We'll meet at the Gyoki Bosatsu Statue to commence our guided tour of Nara.
During the tour, we will explore Nara's historic centre and visit a Buddhist pyramid resembling Mayan temples. Additionally, we will see the house of a local merchant to gain insight into Japanese culture.
We will enjoy panoramic views of the city from hilltop viewpoints and visit Nara Park to encounter the sacred deer, regarded as divine messengers in Japan.
The tour will also include visits to the Kasuga Taisha Shrine and the Todaiji Temple, both recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Finally, we will savor a traditional three-course Japanese meal and a drink.
The guided tour will conclude back at the meeting point, approximately 5 hours after we begin.
