Nara Walking Tour

We'll meet at the Gyoki Bosatsu Statue to begin our guided tour of Nara.

During the tour, we will explore Nara's historic centre and visit a Buddhist pyramid resembling Mayan temples. We will also see the house of a local merchant for insights into Japanese culture.

Participants will enjoy panoramic views from the viewpoints on the hills and visit Nara Park to interact with the sacred deer, regarded as divine messengers in Japan.

The tour will include visits to the Kasuga Taisha Shrine and Todaiji Temple, both recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

We will conclude with a traditional three-course Japanese meal and a drink. The tour will end at the initial meeting point, approximately 5 hours after departure.
