Nara Walking Tour
We will gather at the Gyoki Bosatsu Statue, where our journey through Nara will commence.
Throughout our excursion, we will delve into the historic center and uncover one of its remarkable landmarks, a unique Buddhist pyramid reminiscent of the structures found in Mayan architecture. We will also visit a home of a local merchant to gain a deeper understanding of traditional Japanese culture!
The tour will take us to elevated locations offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city, and we will stroll through Nara Park to encounter its renowned residents: the deer, revered as sacred messengers in Japanese tradition!
We will connect with Japan's spiritual heritage at the Kasuga Taisha Shrine and the iconic Todaiji Temple, both honored as UNESCO World Heritage Sites!
To conclude our day, we will savor a traditional three-course Japanese meal accompanied by a drink.
The guided tour will wrap up back at our starting point, approximately five hours later.
