Traditional Kimono Rental

In Kyoto, immerse yourself in local culture by wearing a kimono and exploring the city. At the kimono rental shop, you can learn about the differences between the kimono and the yukata, selecting the model that fits your style. The rental includes the obi (wide belt), sandals (wooden or leather depending on the model), socks, tunic, and bag.

Your kimono can be elegant, fun, traditional, or striking. The choice is yours.

Collection point & opening hours

You can collect your kimono at the Yumeyakata rental shop at the specific time selected during the booking process and must return it the same day before the store closes. The final time to return the kimono is 4 pm.

If you pick up your kimono early in the morning and return it at closing time, the maximum rental time will be 7.5 hours. Later pickups result in shorter rental times. Returns after 5:30 pm are not permitted, and next-day returns are not allowed.
