If you're in Oslo, don't miss out on a visit to the Vigeland installation in Frogner Park. Come on this tour to learn about its history.
Frogner Park Vigeland Tour
We'll meet at 6 pm at the main entrance to the Vigeland installation, next to the statue of Gustav Vigeland, the creator of this space in Oslo, which extends over an area of almost 32 hectares.
From there we'll set off on a guided walking tour through this section of the park to admire its bronze sculptures. One of the most famous is the Sinnataggen, The Angry Boy, among more than 200 of these works of art.
During the tour, we'll also discuss the story of Gustav Vigeland, who dedicated 20 years to designing this arrangement of sculptures. We'll explore the installation and review highlights such as the Fountain, the 17-metre high Monolith, and the Wheel of Life.
As the sun sets over the park and the last rays of sunshine reflect off the bronze sculptures, this experience will provide an unforgettable memory of Oslo.
