Explore the Norwegian capital's main sights in a fun and relaxed way on our Oslo Bike Tour. We'll learn about the history behind the beautiful fjords, buildings and neighbourhoods we see.
Oslo Bike Tour
At 2 pm, we'll meet at 31 Akershusstranda in Oslo to start our bike tour. During the tour, our guide will discuss the history behind the monuments and share insights on present-day Norwegian culture and politics.
Our 7-mile (12-kilometre) route begins with views of the fjord as we cycle through Grev Wedels Plass. Our first stop is the medieval Akershus Fortress, which has been standing for over 700 years, allowing time to explore and take photos.
Next, we'll cycle to Karls Johans Gate, Oslo's main street, where we can see significant sites such as the National Theatre and the Royal Palace and its gardens.
Our tour continues to the Frogner neighbourhood, known for its vibrant, colorful buildings, where we'll enjoy Vigeland Sculpture Park and also visit the Vigeland Museum.
We'll then cycle through quiet streets to the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art. The modern architecture around Aker Brygge is striking, and we might take a dip if the weather permits.
Our tour concludes at Skur 42, 31 Akershusstranda, 3 hours after departure.
