Explore the Norwegian capital's main sights in a fun and relaxed way on our Oslo Bike Tour. We'll learn about the history behind the beautiful fjords, buildings, and neighborhoods we see.
Oslo Bike Tour
At 2 pm, we'll meet at 31 Akershusstranda in Oslo to begin our bike tour. Our guide will share insights into the history of the monuments we see and provide context on current Norwegian culture and politics.
Our 7-mile (12-kilometre) route will start with views of the fjord as we cycle through Grev Wedels Plass. The first stop will be the medieval Akershus Fortress, where you'll have time to explore its walls and take photos.
Next, we'll cycle to Karls Johans Gate, Oslo's main street, home to significant places such as the National Theatre and the Royal Palace and its gardens.
Our tour will continue to the Frogner neighbourhood, known for its colorful buildings and the Vigeland Sculpture Park, which we will explore. We will also visit the Vigeland Museum.
We will cycle through quiet streets to the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art and enjoy the modern architecture around Aker Brygge, where there may be an opportunity to swim (weather permitting).
The tour will conclude at Skur 42, 31 Akershusstranda, 3 hours after we start.
