Join us at Nedre Slottsgate in Oslo at 2 pm to kick off our cycling adventure through this remarkable city. Our guide will share the captivating history associated with the monuments we visit, alongside engaging insights into modern Norwegian culture and politics.

The 7-mile (12-kilometre) journey begins with breathtaking vistas of the fjord as we cycle through Grev Wedels Plass. Our initial destination will be the medieval Akershus Fortress, a landmark that has withstood the test of time for over 700 years. You will have an opportunity to explore its grand walls and capture memorable photographs.

Next, we'll make our way to Karls Johans Gate, Oslo's principal thoroughfare. Here, we will encounter some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, including the National Theatre and the Royal Palace along with its picturesque gardens.

Continuing our bike excursion, we will head to the vibrant Frogner neighbourhood, known for its trendy atmosphere and distinctive colorful buildings. Amongst this area lies the renowned Vigeland Sculpture Park, which we will take ample time to explore. Additionally, we will cycle to the Vigeland Museum situated in this historic locale.

Our route will then guide us through serene streets towards the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art. You will appreciate the stunning contemporary architecture of the harbor area near Aker Brygge, where there may be a chance to enjoy a swim, depending on the weather conditions.

Finally, we will conclude our tour at Skur 42, 31 Akershusstranda, three hours after our journey commenced.
