We'll meet at the designated time at Masseria Valente for the olive oil tasting. Prepare to learn about the properties of a key product in the Mediterranean diet.

After introductions, we'll begin a tour through the masseria's facilities. As we navigate its expansive rooms, we will discuss the history of these farms and fortified houses, which belonged to aristocrats and upper classes of Puglia.

Next, we’ll proceed outside to explore the ancient olive trees while enjoying the aromas of the Apulian countryside. We will discuss the unique olive harvesting process, the function of the mill, and the special methods used to extract this liquid gold of the Mediterranean.

Then, it's time to taste! We will have a tasting session featuring exquisite extra virgin olive oil from Apulia, sampling the various types produced at Masseria Valente.

After one hour and ten minutes, we'll conclude by bidding farewell at the entrance of the Masseria.
