We'll meet at Masseria Valente for an olive oil tasting. Prepare to learn about the properties of a key component of the Mediterranean diet.

After introductions, we'll explore the masseria's facilities and discuss the history of these farms and fortified houses, previously owned by aristocrats and upper classes of Puglia.

Next, we'll walk outside to visit the ancient olive trees while enjoying the scents of the Apulian countryside. This segment will cover the olive harvesting process, the mill's usage, and the special methods used to produce this liquid gold of the Mediterranean.

It's time for tasting. We'll enjoy an exquisite selection of extra virgin olive oil from Apulia, featuring the different varieties produced at Masseria Valente.

After approximately one hour and ten minutes, we'll conclude the session at the entrance of the Masseria.
