Olive Oil Tasting

We'll meet at the designated time at Masseria Valente for an olive oil tasting focused on understanding the properties of this essential product of the Mediterranean diet.

After introductions, we will tour the facilities of the masseria. During this walk through its spacious rooms, we will discuss the history of these farms and fortified houses, which were once owned by aristocrats and upper classes of Puglia.

We will then go outside to explore the ancient olive trees and experience the aromas of the Apulian countryside. This segment will cover the olive harvesting process, the use of the mill, and the special methods required to extract this liquid gold of the Mediterranean.

Finally, we will partake in a tasting session of the exquisite extra virgin olive oil from Apulia, sampling different varieties produced at Masseria Valente.

After one hour and ten minutes, we will conclude the experience at the entrance of the Masseria.
