Mahahual Scuba Diving

Tour Options

When booking, you'll choose between two scuba diving tours in Mahahual. Both include transport by boat, a certified English-speaking instructor, scuba diving equipment, snacks, and water. Below are the details of each option.

Scuba Diving with 1 Immersion (2 hours)

Meet at the diving centre located at Blue Kay in Mahahual at the scheduled time and show your scuba diving certificates. After confirming, we will board the boat and head to the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System.

After receiving instructions and donning equipment, we'll explore up to 6 underwater landscapes. Divers will be grouped in groups of 5 with the instructor. These waters offer visibility of 25 metres (82 feet), and sometimes up to 35 metres (114 feet).

Scuba Diving with 2 Immersions (3 hours & 50 minutes)

This option allows for 2 immersions, providing more time underwater and opportunities to swim with tropical fish in the coral reefs.

We will follow the same boat route, focusing on marine flora and fauna with visibility of up to 35 metres (114 feet). Expect to see manta rays, crabs, lobsters, barracudas, and various types of fish. After the first dive, we will return to the boat, change oxygen tanks, and proceed to the second dive.

Starting times for tours are as follows:
