Xcalak Scuba Diving

If you're already an experienced diver and you'd like to explore the Mexican seabed, our Xcalak Scuba Diving activity is perfect for you. During the experience, we'll dive down to a depth of 130 feet.

Xcalak Scuba Diving

On the day of the activity, we'll meet at the dive centre located at Km 54 of the Camino Costero 1 hour before your chosen time. We'll start our scuba diving activity in Xcalak after a 15-minute theory lesson. Then, we'll board the boat waiting at the dock in front of the dive centre and set sail through the Mexican Caribbean to a marine park with coral reefs, mangroves, and other marine ecosystems.

We will search for spots with ideal diving conditions to observe marine wildlife, potentially including the Sábalo Pool or the manatee reserve in Chetumal Bay, depending on the weather and sea conditions on the day.

Once the diving spot is selected, we will conduct two dives down to a depth of 130 feet (40 metres), diving through coral gardens and observing various species. Each dive will last between 20 and 30 minutes, based on the selected site.

After the dives, we will return to the Xcalak dock by boat, concluding our activity, which lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes.
