Tour Details
We will meet at the designated location beside the National War Memorial to commence this free tour of Ottawa. The exploration will begin in downtown Ottawa, covering areas such as the Golden Triangle and Centretown. Participants will view the exterior of Canada's Parliament and learn about the country's governance in relation to its neo-gothic architecture.
The tour will include stories of Canadian legends and the city’s unique curiosities. Key historic sites along the route will include the Rideau Canal, a World Heritage Site, and the ByWard Market, one of Canada’s oldest and most vibrant marketplaces. The walk will also feature Major's Hill Park, which provides scenic views of the Ottawa River.
Concluding the tour, we will return to the starting point after a duration of 3 hours.
