2-Day Private Desert Tour

Day 1

On the morning of your tour, you will be picked up from your hotel in Ouarzazate and taken towards Tinghir, passing through the Route of the Thousand Kasbahs, the Valley of Roses, and the Dadès Valley. A stop will be made at the Dadès Gorges to explore geological formations like Monkey Fingers Canyon and the Todra Gorge. Proceed to Merzouga, crossing famous palm groves, stopping for lunch before reaching Erfoud. In Merzouga, start a camel ride to the haima for an overnight stay. Enjoy a Moroccan meal under the stars.

Day 2

Begin with a camel ride for sunrise over Erg Chebbi, then return to camp for a shower and breakfast. The journey continues towards the Tafilalet Palm Grove near Rissani, the historical town of the Alaouite dynasty. Travel through the Anti-Atlas Mountains, with views of Tazarine and N'kob. Cross the Tizi N'Tnifift mountain pass, arriving back in Ouarzazate around 5 pm.

Accommodation

You can choose between standard and luxury haimas in Merzouga Desert. Both categories do not offer single rooms; double, triple, or family rooms are available at a supplement for solo travelers. Standard haimas accommodate up to 4 people, while luxury haimas can accommodate up to 5, both with private bathrooms. Note that during peak seasons, standard camps may use shared bathrooms, and luxury camps have a 30EUR per person charge for air conditioning.
