2-Day Private Desert Tour

Day 1

On the morning of your tour, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Ouarzazate and driven towards Tinghir, following the Route of the Thousand Kasbahs, passing through the Valley of Roses and Dadès Valley. Here, you will stop to explore the Dadès Gorges and their geological formations, including Monkey Fingers Canyon and Todra Gorge.

Continue to Merzouga, crossing palm groves known for their dates, with a stop for lunch before reaching Erfoud. In Merzouga, you'll ride a camel across the dunes to a haima where you will spend the night, enjoying an authentic Moroccan meal afterward.

Day 2

Begin the day with a camel ride to witness sunrise over Erg Chebbi, a highlight of your adventure. Following this, return to the camp for a shower and breakfast before proceeding to Tafilalet Palm Grove near Rissani, the origin of Morocco's Alaouite dynasty. Travel to Alnif and through the Anti-Atlas Mountains, enjoying views of the Draa Valley palm groves. Cross the Tizi N'Tnifift mountain pass before returning to Ouarzazate around 5 pm.

Accommodation

When booking, you can choose between standard and luxury accommodation in the desert. Options are double occupancy only, with the possibility of a triple or family room. Standard rooms offer communal showers, while superior rooms have a private bathroom in the haimas. Luxury camps feature air-conditioning for an additional charge of 30EUR per person.
