Oudtshoorn Night Nature Walk
On this night walk through the veld of Oudtshoorn, participants will search for nocturnal animals such as scorpions using special ultraviolet flashlights. The tour begins at a designated time on the outskirts of Oudtshoorn.
When darkness falls, it will be the ideal moment to seek out fascinating nocturnal wildlife in the Klein Karoo valley. Equipped with ultraviolet flashlights, the group will explore the veld, which is a flat landscape typically covered in grass and low shrubbery.
During the walk, participants may encounter scorpions, spiders, frogs, and snakes. Safety is assured as the excursion is led by an expert guide.
After the exploration of the moonlit veld, the group will return to the starting point to conclude the night tour.
