Oudtshoorn Night Nature Walk

Join us for a night walk in Oudtshoorn, where we will search for nocturnal animals like scorpions using special UV flashlights. The experience will start at the designated time on the outskirts of Oudtshoorn, coinciding with complete darkness, which is ideal for exploring the Klein Karoo valley's wildlife.

We will be equipped with ultraviolet flashlights as we navigate the veld, a flat rural landscape common in southern Africa, home to various nocturnal creatures including scorpions, spiders, frogs, and snakes. Despite the nighttime setting, participants will be accompanied by an expert guide for safety and insight.

After the exploration of the moonlit veld, the tour will conclude as we return to the starting point.
