On this night walk through the veld of Oudtshoorn, we'll look for nocturnal animals such as scorpions using special UV flashlights – it'll be a unique and exciting experience!

Oudtshoorn Night Nature Walk

At the indicated time, we'll meet on the outskirts of Oudtshoorn to start our night stroll. When the light is completely gone, it'll be the perfect time to search for fascinating nocturnal animals that live in the Klein Karoo valley.

We'll equip ourselves with special ultraviolet flashlights and explore the veld of Oudtshoorn. A veld is a flat rural landscape typically covered in grass and low shrubbery found in southern Africa. Scorpions, spiders, frogs, and snakes will be moving among us.

Although searching for animals in the dark might sound intimidating, you will be guided by an expert.

After enjoying the walk through the moonlit veld, we'll return to the starting point and end the night tour.
