Day Trip to the Inhotim Institute

At 8:30 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Ouro Preto and drive to Brumadinho, the location of the Inhotim Institute. We will embark on a visit to the largest collection of contemporary art in Brazil.

After a 2.5-hour drive, we will arrive and begin a panoramic tour of the Inhotim Institute. On board the minibus, we will explore the main areas of this open-air museum and stop to take pictures of contemporary artworks.

The visit includes a stroll through a botanical garden with over 4000 floral and arboreal species, spheres in ponds, and glass pavilions with stunning views, along with unique benches designed by Hugo França. We will also access a natural reserve of Mata Atlantica, a threatened neotropical habitat preserved in this area. You will have an hour of free time for lunch before departing.

We will conclude the excursion at 4:30 pm at your hotel in Ouro Preto.
