Ouro Preto Hiking Adventure

We'll pick you up from your hotel at the designated time and head to the base of Pico do Itacolomi, located on the border between Ouro Preto and Mariana.

Before starting the 14 km (8.7 mi) hike, we'll pause at Fazenda do Manso, an 18th-century Casa Bandeirista, where you can appreciate the colonial architecture linked to the bandeirantes, explorers of the Portuguese empire.

We will begin our hike towards Pico do Itacolomi, which stands at 1772 meters (3,845 feet). Enjoy the stunning scenery throughout the trek.

After exploring Itacolomi, we'll take a break for refreshments. Post-rest, we will start our return journey to Fazenda do Manso. A nearby lagoon is available for those who wish to swim.

The eight-hour adventure concludes with your return to the hotel in Ouro Preto.
