Ouro Preto & Mariana Tour

After picking you up at your hotel in Ouro Preto, we'll start a tour to discover all the charms of this World Heritage City.

We'll first visit the church of San Francisco, a symbol of this historic town. We will reveal the secrets of this work by Aleijadinho, a key figure of baroque style in Minas Gerais.

Afterwards, we'll proceed to the Carmo church and visit the Inconfidência Museum, learning about the founding of Ouro Preto in the 18th century when it was known as Vila Rica. Before leaving, we'll explore the Oratory Museum, which features significant pieces of art.

There will be an hour and a half of free time for lunch before boarding the minibus to Mariana. Here, we'll visit Minas Gerais square for a panoramic view of the colonial architecture and mountains.

During the guided tour of Mariana, we'll see the churches of Carmen and San Francisco, the Town Hall, and the Pelourinho, significant for its historical context.

The tour will conclude 9 hours later, with a drop-off at your hotel in Ouro Preto.
