Pristine valleys, the towering Chilean Andes, a starry night sky, and more await you on this 2-day stargazing expedition through the Quebrada Amarilla.

2-Day Stargazing Expedition

Day 1: Ovalle - Quebrada Amarilla

Pickup is at 8 am from your hotel in Ovalle, followed by travel to Quebrada Amarilla, where we will set up our mountain camp. After lunch, we will embark on a 3 to 4 kilometers (1.9 - 2.5 miles) hike featuring scenic views of the valleys and Andean peaks. In the evening, we will return to camp for dinner and a stargazing experience, using a telescope for enhanced visibility of celestial bodies. An astrophotography workshop will teach participants how to photograph the night sky. We will spend the night at the camp.

Day 2: Quebrada Amarilla - Ovalle

Snacks will be provided before lunch at the stream. We will then return to the vehicle for transport back to your hotel in Ovalle, arriving around 6 pm.
