Birdwatching + Kayaking Tour

Pickup from your hotel in Ovalle is at 9 am. We will travel southwest for one hour to reach the Limarí River wetlands, a biosphere reserve recognized for its biodiversity and clear skies. Upon arrival, we will embark on a 1.5-hour hike through the nature reserve to observe native birds with the aid of a bird-watching manual. This will be followed by more hiking along the Caleta El Toro river inlet.

After hiking along the Limarí river beach, we will take a break to enjoy a delicious sandwich made from local products. Following this, a 20-minute kayak tour will allow you to relax and take in the scenery while the guide paddles. After the tour, we will return to the banks of the Limarí River for the road trip back to Ovalle, with an arrival time at your hotel projected for 3 pm.

This activity includes pickup from hotels in downtown Ovalle. Those staying in remote areas will be picked up at the main square at the scheduled time.
