Join us on this bike tour through a nature sanctuary - the wetlands of the Limarí River, where we'll spot hundreds of birds as we cycle.

Limarí River Wetlands Bike Tour

Pickup will be at the designated time at your hotel in Ovalle, followed by a drive to the Limarí River wetlands, a sanctuary for local species.

Upon arrival, we'll start a two-hour bike tour. This low-difficulty cycling route covers 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) on flat dirt roads, concluding at Caleta El Toro beach.

After reaching the river inlet, we'll take a 90-minute walk for bird watching in the wetlands. Using a bird-watching manual, we'll identify various native bird species.

Post-walk, we'll take a break for a sandwich made from local products and discuss aspects of the wetland, recognized as a stargazing destination due to clear skies.

After our break, we'll return to your hotel in Ovalle, completing the tour in a total of 6 hours.

Hotel Pickup

Pickup is provided from hotels in downtown Ovalle. For guests in remote areas, pickup will be at the scheduled time at the Plaza de Armas in the city center.
