Join us on this bike tour through a nature sanctuary - the wetlands of the Limarí River, where we'll be able to spot hundreds of birds as we cycle along.

Limarí River Wetlands Bike Tour

We'll pick you up at the designated time at your hotel in Ovalle and then travel to the Limarí River wetlands: a nature sanctuary dedicated to local species conservation.

Upon arrival, we'll start a two-hour bike tour on a low-difficulty cycling route, riding 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) on flat dirt roads, culminating at Caleta El Toro beach.

Once we reach the river inlet, we'll embark on a 90-minute walk for bird watching in the wetlands. This section of the biosphere reserve will use a bird-watching manual to identify various native bird species.

After the walk, we'll have a break to enjoy a sandwich made from local products and learn about other aspects of the wetland, recognized as a stargazing destination for its clear skies.

After replenishing our strength, we will return to your hotel in Ovalle, completing a total duration of 6 hours.

This activity includes pickup from hotels in downtown Ovalle. For guests in remote areas, pickup will occur at the scheduled time at the Plaza de Armas in the city center.
