Nora River Hiking Tour

We'll meet at the time of your choice in Lugar Priañes to begin this hiking route along the meanders of the Nora River.

Our journey starts at a viewpoint a few minutes from the town center, offering a panoramic view of the meanders of the Nora River, which are notable examples of geological erosion.

We will descend 1 kilometre (0.6 miles) along an old path leading to the access road of the hydroelectric power station. Here, we can observe this facility that harnesses water for energy production.

The tour continues towards the confluence of the River Nora and Nalón River, along a path carved into the rock surrounded by a lush forest. A short break will be taken at this spot before resuming.

After the break, we will ascend through paths lined with chestnut trees and meadows where cattle graze. We will eventually return to Priañes park, home to a statue honoring Asturian actor Arturo Fernández.

The route concludes after two hours of hiking, returning us to the starting point.
