Nora River Hiking Tour
We'll meet at the time of your choice in Lugar Priañes for a hiking route along the meanders of the Nora River.
The tour begins with a short walk to a viewpoint, offering views of the meanders of the Nora River, notable for their geological erosion.
We will then descend 1 kilometre (0.6 miles) along an old path to the access road of the hydroelectric power station on the Nora River, allowing us a closer look at this energy-producing facility.
Next, we'll approach the point where the River Nora meets the Nalón River and follow a path carved into the rock within a lush forest. After a short break, we will proceed along an ascending path lined with chestnut trees and pass through meadows where cattle graze.
Ultimately, we will close the circuit and arrive at Priañes park, home to a statue commemorating the Asturian actor Arturo Fernández. The hiking tour concludes after two hours of hiking back at the starting point.
