Harry Potter Oxford Tour
I solemnly swear that I am up to no good!
At the appointed time, the Harry Potter tour of Oxford begins at Broad Street. Participants will visit various settings featured in the Harry Potter series.
The tour includes a visit to New College, where the Hogwarts abbey is located. Guests will explore this 14th-century institution, notable for the scene where Mad-Eye Moody transformed Draco Malfoy into a ferret in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Next, the tour proceeds to the Divinity School, known as the Hogwarts Infirmary, operated by Madame Poppy Pomfrey. This location allows guests to recall scenes from the first Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone film, including where Harry was treated after his encounter with Voldemort.
Guests will also explore the Oxford University campus, which has its own Quidditch league. A tour of the Bodleian Library, one of the oldest in Europe, highlights further connections between Hogwarts and the university.
Additionally, the tour includes information about other films and series inspired by Oxford, such as Alice in Wonderland, The Hobbit, and The Lord of the Rings.
After an hour and a half of sightseeing, the tour concludes with a return to the starting point. Mischief managed!
