Oxford University Guided Tour
We will meet at 15 Broad Street, inside the Oxford Tourist Information Centre, and start our tour around Oxford University, one of the oldest universities in the world.
Although the exact date of its founding is unknown, we will explore the historical context, including the ban by Henry II on English students attending the University of Paris, which led to the establishment of Oxford University.
During the guided tour, we will walk around the exteriors of notable colleges such as Balliol College, All Souls College, Trinity College, Oriel College, and Merton College. We will examine the St Mary's Gothic Church and the renowned Bodleian Library.
We will also visit one of the oldest colleges, including Brasenose College or New College, the latter featured in Harry Potter. After a two-hour tour of Oxford University, we will return to the starting point to conclude the guided tour.
