Archaeological Site of Tula Day Trip
At the designated time, pickup will be from your hotel in Pachuca, and we will travel to Tula de Allende, home of the Archaeological Site of Tula.
The city was the capital of the Toltec state, originally named Tollan-Xicocotitlan, later known as 'Tula' post-Spanish colonization.
During the tour, we will explore significant aspects of Toltec culture, including chronicles of the conflict between Quetzalcoatl and Tezcatlipoca for dominance over the city.
We will visit the Burnt Palace, which was destroyed by fire, and the Pyramid of Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli, where we will encounter its guardians, the Atlantes of Tula, four large anthropomorphic figures representing Toltec warriors.
After 7 hours of history and archaeology, we will return to Pachuca and drop you off at your hotel.
