Lake Powell & Antelope Canyon Kayak Tour
- 4 Stunden
Paddle your way along Lake Powell on a guided kayaking tour and experience the natural beauty of the area. Immerse yourself in nature in the Southwest!
Tour Highlights
We'll meet at the indicated time at the Antelope Point Launch Ramp for a guided kayaking tour of Lake Powell, a man-made reservoir on the Colorado River.
After a quick introduction to proper paddling techniques, we'll gear up and hop into our kayaks. If you're kayaking for the first time, our guide will instruct us on the basics. The lake is known for its calm waters, making kayaking accessible.
Once prepared with life jackets and paddles, we'll launch onto the lake and head towards Water Antelope Canyon, a secluded area accessible only by water. As we approach, we'll appreciate the light channels through the red stone rock towers.
Throughout the route, we'll make several stops for photographs of the dramatic red cliffs and learn about the history of this landscape. Additionally, keep an eye out for freshwater wildlife thriving in the lake's ecosystem.
We'll then slowly return to the launch point, capturing more pictures along the way. This experience lasts approximately 3.5 hours.
Requirements
The maximum weight for each kayak is 122 kg.
