Want to visit one of the most famous natural landmarks in the Arizona desert? On this hiking route through Lower Antelope Canyon, we'll walk through the lower part of this breathtaking gorge.
Tour Details
At the appointed time, we'll meet at Indian Route 222 Page to begin a hiking trail that explores the lower part of this natural monument.
We'll walk for 10 minutes until we reach the entrance to Lower Antelope Canyon, the narrowest area of this geological formation located in Navajo territory.
Wandering between huge sandstone walls, we'll discuss how this area has been formed over millions of years, shaped by wind and water along with the properties of the rocks.
We'll continue on a hiking route extending 1.1 miles (1.5 km) to observe the canyon's twists and turns, with stone walls reaching up to 130 feet (40 m) in height. Due to the light conditions, you'll have opportunities to capture impressive photos.
After an hour of hiking, we'll conclude the activity back at the starting point, with the tour lasting approximately 1.5 hours.
