Elqui Valley Cycling Route

Cycle through the beautiful Chilean valley of the Elqui River on this bike route. You can rent all the cycling equipment and cycle at your own pace, choosing the route you like best.

Description

We'll meet at the indicated time on Calle O'Higgins in Pisco Elqui. There you can choose the cycling equipment that best suits you.

Then, in just 30 minutes we'll take you from Pisco Elqui to Alcohuaz. Your route will begin in this picturesque town of the Elqui Valley, located at an altitude of over 7,000 feet (1,740 meters).

Once we arrive, we'll give you a map and you'll cycle the 9.3-mile (15.10 km) rural road of medium difficulty, enjoying the landscapes of the Elqui River Valley. You can stop in places such as the Los Nichos & Doña Josefa pisco distilleries, and the main squares in Alcohuaz or Horcón. You'll also have access to a picnic area and restrooms, and you can visit the Estero Derecho River.

The route will last approximately 3.5 hours. Please note that at the end of the route, you'll have to make your own way back to the meeting point in Pisco Elqui.
