The Elqui Valley in Chile is celebrated for having some of the clearest skies globally, providing an exceptional setting for observing the stars, galaxies, and celestial bodies visible at night.

Our journey begins at the arranged meeting spot on O'Higgins Street in Pisco Elqui. We will then proceed to a location untainted by artificial lights, where we'll soak in the breathtaking sunset against the backdrop of the Andes mountains.

Following this, we will travel to La Isla, a natural observatory situated just outside the town. There, we will peer through a 20-inch telescope to explore planets, star clusters, galaxies, and various constellations. This is a memorable experience!

Recognized for its remarkably clear skies, the Elqui Valley serves as a perfect locale for stargazing. The unblemished celestial view in this part of the southern hemisphere allows us to enjoy an unobstructed sight of the night sky, free from light pollution.

The excitement continues as we will also have the opportunity to observe the stars using the largest telescope in Pisco Elqui, ensuring a rich stargazing adventure. To enrich the experience further, we'll conclude our evening with a delicious pisco sour cocktail.

After our skyward explorations, transportation will be provided back to the meeting point in Pisco Elqui, with an anticipated return time of around two and a half hours later.
