Erice & Marsala Day Trip

If you're in Palermo and want to explore two beautiful places in Sicily, don't miss this day trip to Erice and Marsala.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at via Volturno 44 in Palermo and board the vehicle for an adventure to Erice and Marsala.

The first stop will be the medieval village of Erice. We will stroll through its cobbled streets and enjoy incredible views from the hill, including sights of the Egadi Islands and the city of Trapani.

We'll also take a break to taste a Sicilian granita, a typical sorbet of the island.

Next, we will continue to Marsala, known for its sweet wine and salt pans. The drive along this unique landscape allows for admiration of still-active windmills and salt basins, along one of Italy's most scenic routes.

In Marsala, we will have time for a typical Sicilian lunch and wine tasting, alongside an opportunity to sample olive oil, a valued local product.

After a total of 9 hours, we will return to Palermo.
