Royal Palace + Palatine Chapel Tour

Meet us at the Piazza del Parlamento to start our guided tour of the Royal Palace of the Normans and the Palatine Chapel of Palermo. Get to know its secrets!

Our first stop is a visit to the Palace of the Normans, a building that dates back to the 12th century and served as the official residence for the kings of Sicily. During the visit, we'll discuss the different monarchs who have passed through here and the reforms made during Spanish rule.

As we walk through the elegant halls of the Royal Palace, we will share many fascinating facts about this site. The most anticipated moment of the tour arrives as we enter the Palatine Chapel, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Palatine Chapel is a jewel of Arab-Norman art. The interior stands out for its numerous golden mosaics covering the walls and ceilings, depicting various religious scenes and figures. Bring your camera, as you'll want to capture many moments during our tour.

After 1.5 hours, we'll return to the starting point, bringing our tour to a close.
