At the indicated time, we'll meet in front of the Church of Saint Ignatius in the square of the same name. From here, we'll begin our tour of the markets of Palermo, focusing on Sicilian cuisine.

After introductions, we'll walk to our first stop. Each of Palermo's four historic districts features its own market street. We will visit the popular markets: Vucciria, Capo, and Ballarò.

Throughout the tour, we will discuss the importance of these markets in Palermo's culture and traditions.

We'll observe street vendors, known as abbannìano, as they promote their goods. It's an engaging atmosphere.

As we see the food on display, an appetite will build. We will taste panelle and crocchè, typical Sicilian fried foods. Additionally, we will try sfincione and arancina, and for dessert, we'll enjoy a Sicilian cannolo or perhaps ice cream if the weather allows, along with Sicilian wine.
